I NEED TO KNOW THE GROSS WEIGHT OF A 1976 25' O'DAY WITHOUT THE DIESEL ENGINE. BOAT HAS A CENTERBOARD. THE TRAILER THAT THE BOAT WAS ON LOOKS A LITTLE LIGHT FOR THE BOAT EVEN THO IT HAS AN EXTENDABLE SECOND TONGUE. I'M WORRIED ABOUT THE WEIGHT ON THE TIRES (TANDEM AXEL) I'M GOING TO REPLACE THE RIMS AND TIRES TO GO TO AT LEAST A 15" RIM. TOO MUCH WEIGHT AT THE HITCH NOW. WAY TOO MUCH. PLENTY OF ROOM TO SLIDE THE BOAT BACK BUT STILL NEED WEIGHT TO GET CORRECT TIRES. THANKS GORDON

Allup weight

The best is to go to a truck scale and have them weigh the whole rig . Then park the boat out of the way and weigh tow vehicle . The specs on this site say that a keel -centerboard displaces 4807 # I hope this helps.

my 1976 25 + my 1999 chevy 2wd gross 11,250 with me and 9.9 honda4 cycle outboard. ca't remember how much fuel the truck had. Close to 7000# boat + trailer. I put carlisle 15 load D trailer tires on mine. Some feel the carlisle tires are junk. they are inexpensive. I only have 300 miles on them. I don't travel 65mph. If you want to know how much weiht is on the trailer tires you pull onto scales and continue so tow vehicle is clear of the scales. this will give you 'going down the road' trailer tires weight but not trailer gross weight cause some trailer weight is on tongue.
