Weight?
I have a Vn 23 and have had as many as 6 people and gear for a weekend camp out on board. Never have seen a weight capacity listed for these boats. Keep the boot stripe above the water line and you should be good. Remember that everything will be strained more with a heavier load. Including the sails and rigging. Weather and seas will also be a factor in how much weight you are going to load, as well as where the weight will be placed. 6 in the cockpit is too much weight aft. I have sailed with as much as 2,000 lbs of crew/passengers, and gear, but it is too crowded, and some had to just ride below (short trip across to an island for a camping trip).

The Coast Guard says is has a capacity of 5 net tons. I know this because I have my MAC 25 documented, and that is the minimum they will document. I have had 5 people on my boat with gear, and no problems at all.
