Gulfstar 1979 Gulfstar 37 BELFAST
I remember way back when, on the old CWBB, that photoday was a highlight of the week especially in the depths of the winter when those of us who were hunkered down in the cold and dreary northeast could reminisce about seasons gone by. I'm in a nostalgic mood today as this is the summer that my daughter gets married, which is a great thing, we are very happy for she and Jake as they have made an amazing life for themselves on the west coast.....they had the photographer aboard their Farr 50 last weekend for a little pre-wedding photo practice, I think their photographer want to get out on the water too.

I'm hoping that when my daughter comes to visit late this summer I'll be able to include her in some of our sailing photos also. Nothing more special. maybe SBO can have a father/daughter photo day :)

former Tartan 30 41971 now in Rockland, ME
Here's a photo from a few weeks ago. We were welcomed to the Gulf of Maine by a pod of white-sided Atlantic Dolphin. First there was one off the bow, then 3, finally about 15 or 20 - jumping on both sides of the boat, crossing under the boat, and a few doing back flips for us. A special treat!

With the help of my friend @LeslieTroyer we added some nice bling to SV Hadley.
New Lexmark windlass, 3/8 ht chain and 8 plait rode from SBO
New Mantus Anchor and bow roller.
Took us 3 days for the complete install. Going to take me a day and half to put the cabin back in order. Had to empty the cabinets and cubbies to run the wire. Got a great tip from @Terry Cox on a source for wire. They even put the fittings and heat shrink on the ends.
Big smile when I powered up the windlass for the first time.
