The Wayback Machine is still working. This is from 2005 and our second boat, a 21 foot Mighty Mite. The Admiral and I are waiting for the 8th or 9th mate to return to the vessel. Her middle son was with us on this trip and we kept jacking his rank up and down according to his actions. IIRC, he almost made 3rd mate on this trip.

Thought I would add to the Photo Library with his image of a MacGregor I passed while cursing down the San Juan Channel Thursday. He is out not he water motor sailing against the current enjoying the clear sunny weather.

The many crab traps that were spread across the main channels reminding me, this is like a game of Frogger, may have triggered an off colored word or three. When typing my fingers share their own thoughts sometimes.

It was a beautiful day to cruise.

Some boats never leave the slip. As long as I have been in the marina this boat has been sitting here on this side tie.

The Anthea.
She should be a challenge to maintain, but I imagine she would project a grand image full sails flying.

No grass at the waterline, at least I can't see any in the photo. That's a good sign. Are those sail covers suppose to be mildew green?

I passed it in May of 2022. Just sticking out there in the water. Unless you looked at the charts it would appear to be an anomaly.

I watched a video of a couple who spent the night on the lighthouse.

Very nice, but I think yours is Baltimore Light, a similar caisson style lighthouse a couple miles north of Sandy Point. Baltimore Light is still an active ATON, whereas Sandy Point was decommissioned a few years ago as the structure is deteriorating.
