It's actually 17F here today. We went from no snow a week and a half ago to over 3' on the ground. That's my Catalina 22 in the background
This is more like it!These are from last weekend….checked on my boat (on the hard for the winter). Temps were around -5F.
Lake Michigan temp around 32, not frozen except in the marina. Water “steams” in the frigid air temps.

Wife and I have been coming for 10 years or so…it is whale season here.
Our tradition has been to deplane, stop at a Costco to stock up on alcohol and other staples, check in to the condo and hit Freds for beer and tacos. Then hit the local Foodland for the other fresh food. It is about 9:00-10:00 for us (4 hour time change from Chicago) when we hit Fred’s.
We didn’t really think we would see a sunset as it was quite cloudy…but the sun peaked under the clouds as it was setting so we tried to get a quick photo…as you said, not the best.
How about this shot? From the beach, at sunset (not this year).

Total fog with less than 100 or so feet of visibility and temps in the mid 70’s for today here in Savannah. Time for a pressure wash… I know.
