Don, Just get a little

whiff of ammonia from a bottle. Don't stick yer nose in it like a glass of wine. Just open the bottle and wave yer hand over it and sniff the air. A face full of ammonia will make everything else in your world seem insignificant.

Dwayne , I was waiting

I was waiting for a Canadian to reply. My question to you.....Why are you so polite I guess he took his hostility out on Canada because he is afraid to take it out on anyone near striking distance. Kinda like a wife -beater syndrome. I better be careful, he is probably shining up all his war medals.

Dwayne, your answer is/was incomplete

They will ask you about all of those things at the time you enter Canada. Not every time but the first time I assure you. As to expressing my opinion, that is legal in the USA. It is in Canada that you get locked up for that. Weapons are not the only things that will get a visitor in trouble in your country. Be advised folks. No kidding, no sarcasm. Expressing an opinion is not an attack on your country, just its policies. I visit Canada all the time. Just this last weekend in fact. As to polishing medals, I don't need to do that. Maybe you forgot there is a difference between medals and ribbons and other uniform devices. Kerry can tell you, he throws them. Maybe he will come to BC for the new memorial to the draft dodger/deserter. As to me, I am still earning them. As to your classy guy comment, see the angst forum or look up the definition of sarcastic projection as related to psychology.

mrBill, the insert you mention

is tapered to prevent its use with 12 gauge shotgun shells. It is also a bad idea to have that kind of ammunition in a country which bans the weapons. I once spoke to a Seattle police officer who witnessed the firing of a shotgun shell in a plastic 12 gauge flare gun. It survived due in part to the short barrel but it would kick like a mule and yours might not be up to the same standard of construction.

Patrick, You are spot on

about the First Amendment protections we enjoy south of the Canadian boarder. It protects the speaker (in most cases) regardless of how ill informed he is or how insipid the content is.

Why would anyone bother

with firearms, especially in the Caribbean (north side, of course). And Patrick's humor just takes a little while to get used to. Rumor has it that he is secretly planning to move to Canada *x, but refuses to admit it. *yks Stu
