We Have lost a great web site

I just clicked on the Compass Rose Review and got a message that it was no longer available. Maine Sall, Can you fill in some of the blanks?

Not the same . But a good substitute. The compass rose review was a blog site by one of the oldtimers.

It was Peter Spectre's boating blog and a good one. Perhaps the site is just down for maintenance? Peter is the current editor of Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors magazine and was the former editor of Wooden Boat. Perhaps it was a contractual thing between the Magazine and his blog?

I'll likely be seeing him in a few weeks and will ask him what's up with the Compass Rose Review..

Actually it is the same Ross. Peter H. Spectre was the author of the Compass Rose Review blog. It has been discontinued.
