thanks for the input . i do want to let you know that it IS the hull that is in the way . has anyone actually ground it out to get access to the bolts and if so what happened. did you go though all the way and left with a channel in the hull and just covered by the deck overlap? if so did you simply fill with polysulfide? or 5200 figuring to re cut the next time you need to access it .or did you take off the teak strip and go in horzontally for a 3" groove, and placing the trim back on to cover things a bit . thanks in advance . mg

Hi Again, I have the 2nd question now that we know it's for the lifeline stanchions. My question is, have you removed the teak panel to see if yours are accessable directly behind the teak without cutting any fiberglass? If you haven't looked then maybe is a good time to do so. Mine are accessable without having to cut, but then I am not sure what year of 22 you have? SO I guess , we will wait to hear from you again. Happy Sailing

well i didnt pull the teak off and now that you ask im not sure . but i think there is a "v" molding under that teak and i beleive i remember it is solid on the back side. ill go to the marina to check though. you will hear back from me in a day or so . thanks. mg
