Hi,
Just joined the Hunter Owners site. I've always enjoyed this web page and I've looked and many of the great looking (and fast!) Hunter boats on the web pages.

My wife and I sail a North American 23. It's a great boat but we were very interested in a Hunter 29.5.

We sail at Lake Clinton, Lawrence, Kansas. If anyone knows of an owner that is thinking about selling their 29.5, please let us know.

The 29.5 is a very nice boat with good accommodations for its size.
The main issue that I have with the 29.5 is the lack of a traveler. To overcome this deficiency a powerful vang is needed and should be used to help control twist in the leech of the main allowing the mainsheet to control angle of attack when sailing in a breeze with puffs. Switching to vang sheeting early will make a big difference in sailing performance and comfort.
