I will consider the grey as I think you have a point, but the white was to go with the sails and rub rail. I also am considered doing the transom in white so that the cockpit wasn't so lonely, but that I don't think would look very good.

I think I have seen them use the Interdeck on Ship Shape TV before, looked really good on their boat if it is the same stuff.

I take all good hearted shaming as good old fashion ribbing. Edu-ma-cation the traditional way.

and while your in a good mood, just for the record, a stringer in a boat always runs fore and aft....
what you are working on would be more correctly called transverse stiffeners or athwartship supports... :D

For a cover for your Wayfarer in the future check out sailortailor out of Ohio. Real nice fitting cover with mast up or down. A little pricey at 800.00 but well made. They have a cheaper material but not as durable.

See! Learning! Thank you. Enjoy the learning.

Not to open a can of any type; but the world is way to concerned about feelings. If I have something wrong I appreciate people informing me instead of just letting me continue in my ignorance.

On the cover post: Thank you. I will look into it when the time comes. A ways off for that.
