We just washed down our 1995 Hunter 29.5. We put on a coat of 3M Fiberglas cleaner and restorer (low oxidation). It started to rain and so we couldn't buff it off. We won't be back for a couple weeks. Any ideas for removing old, dried wax?

Lime Away or CLR

Recently, I've been using a product called Lime Away to remove hardened concrete particles from our deck...it's a long story. In applying this product, I noticed that it also took off the wax. You can find this product at most grocery stores or drug stores under the cleaning section. CLR is another product that does similar things. Cheers, -j-

TKO

There is a product called, TKO that is developed from orange peels. I use it on EVERYTHING! Carpets to laundry to boat hulls and even grease on the driveway. It retails for about $80 /gallon. Ace hardware caries it. If you can't find it locally, call me, 915 697 5011 and I'll ship you a gallon for $70. A gallon should last you a year if you are "normal". If not normal, it won't last as long.. I use it to clean my boat, laundry, mop floors, windows, car wash, algae, mold, grease, dog shampoo, etc, etc. ANYTHING that needs cleaning.!
