Nice photos cb. Nastiest bit of water I've ever been on. Lost the tug Louisa off Long Point near Dover, Ontario in one storm. We were fortunate that the Canadian Coast Guard out of Dover came right out and gave us assistance. A commercial fishing boat went down killing three in the same storm. Problem with that damn lake is it is almost shallow enough to walk across. The deeper area near the middle gets the surge going and it piles up in the shallows which run offshore for miles.
Gets pretty muddy looking close to shore as the waves stir up the sediment. Tough to get a real sense of how big these waves really are without something in the picture to compare them to. Definitely wouldn't be a good sailing day.
