I HAVE A 1977 27FT CATALINA WITH WATER TRAPPED UNDER THE SOLE FORWARD OF THE BILGE. SINCE THE BOAT HAS BEEN SHRINK WRAPPED ALL WINTER IT MUST HAVE ACCUMULATED THERE FROM LAST SEASON. AT PRESENT ITS SEEPING INTO THE BILGE AND DISCOLORING THE MAST BASE AND SURROUNDING BULKHEADS. IS THERE ENOUGH DEPTH IN THE SOLE TO PUT AN INSPECTION PLATE AND DRAIN IT OR IS THERE AN ALTERNATE CHOICE. THERE ARE NO WATER STAINS ON THE WINDOW PORTS OR ON THE UPPER MAST SUPPORT. ANY RECOMENDATIONS OR THOUGHTS ARE SERIOUSLY WELCOME. B

Condensation

If there is only slight accumulation IE: less than half a gallon, it's likely just condensation, especially all wrapped up and no breathing room and temp fluctuations. Use a dryer - West Marine. Constantly on, it won't let the temp get below the dew point insite the cabin, so water won't condense and accumulate.
