Water up in front of water tanks

Buying a 373 next week. Had an opportunity to dig through the boat a bit, yesterday.

Found clean, fresh water, about a quart, just in front of the bulkhead all the way forward of the water tanks.

Broker said they washed the deck and may have fill water tanks.

Other than that, the boat is dry.

Ideas where it came from?

Dig into the boat and look everywhere. You'll get to know the boat in the process.

1. leaking water fill.
2. Leaking pressurized freshwater plumbing - piping, fitting, fixture.
3. compromised water tank.
4. leaking deck fitting.
5. leaking port / hatch.
6. A/C condensate
7. wash crew forgot to dog the hatches.

Some of these can be very expensive to remedy, some not so much. Leaky boats grow mold, lose value, and become uninhabitable. Hold the sale until ID'd. I know that is not what you wanted to hear. I would enroll the surveyor in documenting the concerns.
