Hi - 2004 Hunter 41 with Snake river display. Port water tank monitor working fine but starboard shows empty and won;t allow calibration - get an error message. I noticed that there is this loose wire (see the red highlight that was just dangling off a small "box", with a small flat coper plate on it. Could

this be the problem somehow ?

Thank you - you woudl not happen to know what sensors these are and where to get information on them - the monitor works just dine with the fuel and waste water garages and the second water tank - its just this one - somehow I think that that exposed wire with the small copper plate should be somewhere else - the sensor module is in such a tight awkward position I cant get at it, and don;t want to rip out a connection by accident. Its a small rectangular "box" with some wires going in and out of it - one seems to be connected very far down Thanks Jim

The original Snake River Tank monitors that Hunter installed have two problems: 1. They've been obsolete for at least 20 years, and 2. Hunter didn't know how to install them, so they've always had problems. So instead of trying to fix whatever is causing the current problem, I'd replace it with a SCAD monitor. They're top rated, reasonably priced and available from a number of retailers including Amazon. They also provide a continuous contents level instead of the usual 1/4, half, 3/4, full.

Hi all - and thanks. Don;t want to replcate everything and found the part - these are the metal foil type that go on the outside of the tank - now the big question - has anyone done this ? - it seems like you can't get to the outside of the tank without taking it out - and that looks very involved - anyone have an experience with this ?
