Just filled my water tank for the first time. Have a few questions. It is a bladder tank under the cockpit. Is it standard and if it is how much does it hold? The filler is in the starboard cockpit locker and is side mounted. Very difficult to know when it is full and when it is water goes into the locker. Any suggestions for an easy fill? I am thinking flexable funnel with bucket underneath. Only problem is this is where the battery mounts.

H25 freah water bladder

I have one of these boats and I assume you found the fill port forward of the removable panel from which you can access the aft bilge. The OME was a 14 gal.bladder. If you overfill, the spill will go into the bilge, where you can pump out easily(I assume you have an electric pump). I have changed mine over to a hard tank with pressure water, but I am sure the water overflow is the same. Regards, Jim

I'm moving my tank

I'm surprised to hear that your battery is mounted under the cockpit. I thought factory installation was under the port settee. I have two group 27 house batteries under the port settee, and one group 27 starter battery under the starboard settee. All three are shoved as far forward as possible to help trim my boat better. I've been working for a year to balance her out, with limited success. I have a 116 lb. Honda 9.9 XLS hanging off the transom, so the stern squats too much. My next step is to move my water tank up under the v-berth to try to trim her better. I've never used the factory bladder tank, because of (you guessed it) the additional weight aft. I just keep a few gallon jugs of water under the starboard settee, and the ice chest up by the compression post. Randall
