I've traced my water leak on H320 to the fresh water tank but can't access the darn thing. After removing two dozen screws, the laminate wood will only come up in front, not the back. I took out all the screws and the box surrounding the AC vent, but alas it's as if it's glued down at one end with 5200. I hestitate to crowbar it for fear it will break in half. There are no visible screws from the teak side or the closet to keep it down. What gives?

Deadline...

In preparing to install a water tank access port for clean-out, I found that the seat base under which my one water tank resides was screwed down to the vertical support casing from the inside. Apparently it was put together as an assembly before installation at the factory. Only one screw was accessable on top.

You noted "at the back"--would that be the hull side edge? If so, and the laminate extends under a vertical trim panel with cubbys or doors, see if there aren't screws on the backside of the verticle holding it in place. If not, it could be attached as noted above.

An alternative is to cut across the un-giving edge and reinstall the piece with a "cleat" to rejoin them when finished. A PO did that on my boat for the holding tank replacement.

Jam inside the cubby hole

Itching a ride on Dan's idea, if it's like this, there a 3/4 X 3/4 jam inside that cubby hole. Remove the screws from the top of it and your laminate should come out. Good luck
