Water system with foul odor

Hunter 280 Chatfield Lake
Just purchased a 96 Hunter 280 and put it in the lake recently. After filling the water tank, we noticed a very foul odor coming from the hot water tap. Not too sure what it is and how to cure the problem. The odor is not as bad from the cold water tap.

You need to do two things:
