I have some water seeping from a small hole when the boat is hauled. It is coming out of the fiberglass just above the lead keel. I have pumped the bilge. It is dry. The water continues to seep. Any suggestions???

Tell us more . . .

Any idea what kind of boat it is ?? Where is the hole relative to the keel (forward, aft)? Is it a thru-hull or just some unexplained opening?

Standard stuff, not to worry. Could be the keel has disloged slightly from the hull. See how long it weeps. If it stops in a week, probably an easy fix by routing out and sealing. Ask your yard for an opinion, and check the Archives here as well.

Water seeping from keel

1986 C&C 33 Mark II. The water is seeping from a pin hole just above the keel and forward of the sump. I've had the boat out of the water for 5 days and still seeping. Also the sump was pumped dry. Bilge dry. Thanks for your help.

seeping water from keel

Thanks for the help. I have drilled it out a little and filled it. It is still dripping slightly. Less than before.
