If I Disconnect From Raw Water Intake Should It Be Able To
Draw Water From A 5 Gal Bucket?

Yes if you have a good impeller if it does not suck water you need to check the impeller

If you are talking about the raw water pump, it is self priming. If you are talking about the freshwater pump, it is not self priming.
