Water Pump

Last fall I drained all water systems and drained the pump.
This Spring...
Filled the two tanks.
Cleaned the strainer.
Opened the two shutoff valves.
Pump works but no water in head or galley. Only a trickle.
I took the output line side off the pump. Plenty of water going through
the pump, its not the pump.

Question. Why no water at the faucets??? any suggestions??

It has worked fine for the last six seasons using the same process.

Bob, opening BOTH water tank valves usually results in what you've found. Close one and go from there.

The other advantage is that you will ALWAYS have a backup tank, 'cuz you'll know when you run out of one tank and will have the other full. Simple.

THe problem was that the water lines to the head sink had come off.
So the water was pouring out of the lines when the pump ran. Put them back on
and all is OK.
