My water pump grease fitting needs to have grease added. What kind, brand or type is used hear? I feel rather funny going into a parts store and asking for water pump grease. The young guys will laugh me out of the place. I have the Atomic engine.

I am not laughing Admiral! That Atomic four is as reliable and dependable as a British Seagull outboard! Lots of power and dependability in a small package. Their are times I would have given up my diesels for the Atomic four. After 50 years of sailing something's never should have changed! Or was it the gas vapors that scared the manufacturers! 
I was once told to use good old fashion wheel bearing grease, nothing fancy. The smallest tub you can find will last a lifetime.
