Sailors, On my 27ft 1983 hunter, my water pressure pump doesn't work. Where can i send it to be repaired?

I'm curious. . . .

Why would you want to repair it instead of simply buying a new one? I know a new one might be more expensive than the repair, but repairing a 24 year old pump may not be a good idea. Good luck!

Exactly why is it not working and which pump model

If the motor runs then it is the pump head or valves. Probably a DIYS job. If the motor does not come on it may be the pressure sensor or an electrical connection problem. If it is something else then I'd agree with Dan and just get a new one.

check the lines

I had an interesting situation- mine quit just before a cruise so I took it apart quickly and found nothing. In a rush I bought another and took off only to find the new pump wouldn't work after installation. On further inspection I found the nozzle on the tap was clogged with minerals providing just enough back pressure to shut off the pump. I changed the nozzle out, it worked and now I have a spare pump.

Repair? This is 2007 and unfortunately

most things are intended to be disposable. Check that the unit is getting at least 11.5V and if it is and don't work walk yourself over to WM and buy a new one for around $100. That is if you want to fix it today, if you can wait a week the order it through the internet and save yourself $5.00.
