I have three water tanks on my C&C Landfall 38 and ran out of water. Found out because the fresh water Pump would not turn off. I know I should have checked the levels but I had just filled one tank and am a rookie at this since I recently bought the boat.
Problem: The fresh water pump turned on when I turned the unit on in the control panel but then stopped working. So I either have to replace the pump or could it be that there is an air plug causing the unit to not work?
The pump is a Johnson Pump model P8 12V - 10-24223-1.
If anyone has had this issue please advise and how to fix. I did not have time to disconnect hoses. The unit is fairly old and may need replacing at 15 years old.
