Water Pressure Problem

I have a 2003 34 that has a water pressure problem.

My pump will start up build pressure and turn off.

I get some initial pressure but it does not maintain it for more then a few seconds.

I've tryed bleeding it from each of the four outlets, the head the galley and stern shower and the hot water heater.

it never really seems tobuild proper pressure.

How can I troubleshoot the problem/check for proper pressure coming from the pump?
Anybody done any work in this area?

On my 270 there is a screen filter just before the water pump. With the well water we use it sometimes gets silted up and needs to be cleaned out. That's where I usually start looking first when the stream doesn't flow like it should.

Water flow

Could be the pressure sensor in the pump. May be gunked up so it is not sensing the pressure drop, or just failing. Try giving it a good cleaning. As kczach noted it could also be a supply issue, check you filter. You can also undo the supply side input to the pump, water should flow freely. If not perhaps the valve(s) are not fully open or the tank vents plugged.
