water muffler volume ?

Up here in the frozen north, I am winterizing my C320. Last year when I opened the valve to drain the water muffler, only about one cup came out. Should I be expecting more ?

Muffler

The muffler doesn't fill with water because the water gets expelled by the exhaust pressure. I have never gotten that much from mine.

What will get trapped in the muffler if the engine doesn't turn over. While the engine is cranking water us being sucked into the system. If you have to crank the engine multiple times before it will start than water can collect in the muffler.
