Water leak

I have a water leak at the mast step. During rain storms water runs down the outside of the mast pole on the inside the cabin. I have taken the two ceiling access / inspection plates off during a storm and everything inside is dry. I can see and feel the mast base plate bolts and all of the electrical & rigging penetrations. All of these and the outside of the fiberglass / resin glob that is around the mast pole / keel retraction line conduit are dry. On the outside of the cabin top the only logical spot for a leak is the well with the block for the keel retraction line. This well has lots of factory goop but also retains about half an inch of standing water after a rain. In a rain the water I assume that this well must fill up to a point of covering the line and block. Has this been a problem on other H260's? If yes, what have you done to fix the problem?

I have the same problem on my 1995 H26. Can't find the leak either, though it was MUCH worse before I built a little dam with some epoxy to prevent water from running down the inside of the mast post from the hole made for the keel uphaul line. Now it just drips once every 10 seconds in a downpour, running down the post, through the table, and disappearing into the bilge. I'm trying a mast boot next.
