hi I need some advice on a water leak , well freash water / rain water
When it rains a have some water under the ply floor on top of the fibreglass
Mostly on the port side of the engine next the the head
First thort it was from the engine , but did not start the engine for a couple of weeks and the water was still there and lots of rain

Any ideas where the water might be coming in ?

Do you use the shower or does the hatch in the head leak?

The aft pan in the head has a drain. The forward pan doesn't. To make it worse, Catalina installed a piece of fiberboard to separate them. When we shower without paying attention we get water in the forward pan and we saturate the fiberboard. The water ends up under the flooring next to the engine and in the engine bilge if there is enough of it.

Thanks jk
For your in input that is where the water is under the ply floor and some times comes out in the bilge up high on the little lip where the bilge cover is
Only happens where it rains and have not used the showere for a while
Well keep checking it is like between the mounds

Cheers mat

Do you keep your boat in a slip? Driving rain could blow the water through the cracks in your hatch boards. Keeping it on a mooring does not aggravate this problem as the boat always points into a driving wind/rain.

Check your hose connections to your hot water heater.......have had leakage from there twice.
