I don't think I am the only person with water leaking in the head and galley opening port windows so here is what worked very, very well. 1. From the outside clean the lower rail of the window frame that holds the screen in place. Place a approx. 4" piece of 3/8w X 1/8t self sticking weather trim deed center over the small bottom cutout hole in the middle of this rail on the outside. This restricts water entry. 2. Remove all 4 retaining knobs that close the window. My 95 H26 has 5/16 threaded toggle bolts and approx. 5/8" flat washers then the knobs. These knobs have a desire to slide off the window ears toward the open position as you tighten them, up until you break the window frame/ears trying to tighten them. 3. Purchase 4 5/16" fender washers per window from any hardware store. These are Large flat washers about 1 1/4 to 1 3/8 inch wide. Place them in a vise with about 1/4 inch showing above the vise top. Take a hammer and drift, flat punch or whatever and bend and flatten this part of the washer to 90 degrees from the flat plane. This forms a very prominate lip on the washer. 4. Re-install these washers in place of the originals with the lip inboard of the window rim. This keeps the knobs from sliding and distributes the closing pressure over a wider area. Snug but not over tightened. Be sure your window gasket is not torn or broken. If it is replace it with new material or weather stripping. Hunter, listen up. Ray
