I have recently purchased a 1990 350 Oceanis, and have observed a leak around the wrap around window located above the cabin. I was able to place sealant around the outside of each section, which seemed to stop the leak. The question I have is there anyone that has had this same problem and how difficult is it to take the windows out and recaulk.

gaskets are the answer

Charlie I've had this same leak on a F29 and a F345. Both times I have made contact with Beneteau and they have sold me gasket appropriate for each of the boats. On these models you have to remove the vinyl cover strip on the inside window frame to get to the screws. I've always called these barrel bolts but at West Marine they are called truss screws. This is where one screw is male and the other is female. It takes two people to get them in or out. Clean the surfaces, stick the gasket on and put the window back together. Good luck Cliff

Wrap around windows

We have the same windows on our '91 390. Although we haven't had any leaks, I talked to one guy who, in rehabbing a 350, decided that he wanted to rebed these windows. After taking the first one out, he decided to leave the others in as it was a ton of work to cut the window out and remove the old adhesive. It can be done, though, and I believe you can get the adhesive/ sealant from Beneteau. I think it's more than your basic sealant in order to gain some strength from the windows themselves in the deck.
