Fixed one water leak - failed macerator pump. Now seem to have some water flowing into bilge from drain under forward v berth, forward of keel. Is it possible to access space under v berth ? Am currently some distance from my boat so can't inspect directly. Can't find any reference to an access hatch under v berth on any sites checked so far.

There is a large access hatch under the V-berth, the table top can be stored there so it's about the same size. The speed and depth transducers are usually the only thru hulls forward of the keel. The only thing forward of that is the anchor locker and it's drain, the drain hole outside the hull frequently goes below waterline in small waves.
Don't be surprised to find a bunch of lifejackets or something the PO put in there and forgot.

Ted: all fixed. Discovered some things I didn't know before today. No leak forward of keel,; seems it was just residue form previous ingress and drip down insdie of mast. Thanks for your reply.

JR, It took me about 6 months before I discovered the cleats on the bulkhead behind the aft cabin door to store the hatchboards, they'd been sliding all over the cabin till then.;)

Ted:

Glad to hear I'm not the only one to discover what turns out to be the bleedin' obvious. Am having the floor panels sanded to minimise the water stain and re-done with two-pack so she should be sparkling again pretty soon.

The floor panels are 1/4 ply with a paper thin teak and holly veneer, I nearly ruined mine because I removed from the boat (sea level, 65% humidity) and drove 1 hour home (6100 ft. 10% humidity). They'd warped into gutters, very nearly cracked. The veneer is very thin so it's easy to sand thru it. It's also photosensitive, when new the teak is dark and holly almost white, after exposure to light the colors reverse.
