I was wondering what you do if you get water in the cabin? I wanted to hose out the inside of my boat, but i do not see any drains. My Cat 22 is a 1970. For now i will dry mop it but i am worried that if i ever flip it ( Hope not but you never know!!) where the water will go? Any ideas are greatly appreciated!! Scott

hello scott, i hose my bilge to clean it, i get the water out with a small wet/dry shop vacuum. every home needs one ( spills, pets, messy children, over flowing toilets ).

guess what?

Well now Scott, you flip the boat and the water is going to stay in the boat till you bail or pump it out. The idea of the shop vacumm is a great idea, but if you don't have a shop vac, Wal-Mart sells bilge pumps starting at the 350gph range for about 15 bucks. It comes with only a 3' hose so you may need to extend that just a bit. By the way these run on 12 volts DC and they are made by rule industries. Happy Pumping :) Dave LaPere
