After each rain storm I get water in my stern lazarette. I re-beded all fitting and hardware but no luck in stopping leak. Any guesses?

Not sure exactly where you mean by stern laz? But if you are refering to the area under the aft cockpit seat, during a heavy rain the gutter around the seats can overflow into the area underneath. This is particulary true when washing the cockpit with a hose.

Swim ladder
I have a Hunter 29.5. It is basicly the same boat with a different rig. The swim ladders on these boats leak. If the gutter is not an issue, try to rebed the ladder.

Patrick, Hunter 31 (83-87) correct?
Patrick: If you are talking about the H'31 (83-87), there are only a few places that could be a problem. 1. Read Pulpit - Lift the rear pulpit and rebed. 2. Seat hinges - Remove the screws and rebed. 3. Water tank fill - rebed 4. Emergency Tiller cap - rebed 5. Hinges for cover of the water fill and emergency tiller. I would suggest that you use a high quality caulk like the 101, 4200, Life Caulk. Do not use 5200 incase you need to do this again.

Found my leak. Know the old saying, "Right in front of your eyes", my leak was right in front of my ears. Stereo speakers mounted on the front wall of the rear storage where not sealed. Got inside lararette and had the wife hose me down and the water flowed in around the speakers. Removed, sealed and replaced. Had 2" of rain over the weekend and today the lazarette was dry as a bone.
