I bought a hunter 25.5 had a little water in areas marked. on the photo. On seat (bulkhead) and then under engine / near builge pump, and in the aft cabin. I thought it was just comming in from the hatch where you climb into the cabin. But after covering it it continues to take in water. Anyone who is farmilar with this model or may have an idea were the water may be comming from id love some help learing how to fix it and where it may be comming from. I beleive the leak by the bulkhead would most likely be from the chain plate?? But I have no idea any help would be appreciated. Have a picture. The most forward circle I can see water marks running down the wood. And the other two towards the back are where water is pooling.

Check the portholes gaskets, stanchion bases, chain plates, deck and cockpit scoopers, bow and stern pulpit bases and deck to hull joints. The leak under the engine concerns me the most. The pan under the engine is separated from all bilge conduits in order to hold oil or fuel leaks and prevent these fluids from being expelled overboard. If you have water there it means it may be leaking from the engine's cooling system. Salt water is very corrosive to metal parts and will eat through oil lines and metal casings so any leak should be fixed promptly.

My 25.5 had a similar pattern near the bulkhead. The chain plate was the issue and went away after re-bedding.
I also had a leak in the aft area. I re-bedded the backstay chain plate and rudder attachments. I also noted that the backstay chain plate bolts had loosened a bit over time and allowed the plate to move upward some and out of position. I was able to get it back to the correct position and do some reinforcement to help keep it there. That seemed to take care of that leak, but I will need to keep tabs this next season.
I am not sure of the location of the leak to your bilge, but my boat tends to get some water in the area of the keel bolts for a time following putting it on the hard for winter storage if there are cool nights and humid days. The water comes from the weep hole at the aft end of the keel bolt area. I believe this to relate to condensation, but am not sure. Water does not accumulate there when in the water (bilge always dry) or when on the hard during cold weather. I suppose it could relate to the small drip from the packing gland that is normal when using the engine, but that does not seem likely with the pattern I have noted.
I also have a small leak from the companion way hatch board frame that I intend to fix this spring. I think the bedding is simply getting too old and needs to be removed and replaced.
One other leak problem I found when I bought the boat involved one of the opening Gray ports. That dripped water on the table and came from a very small crack in the port frame. I was able to stop that with a tube of stuff for repair of plastics, but all ports do need to be removed and re-bedded at some point. Might even replace them. That's too much work for me at this time.

I'm not sure about the bulkhead, but mine will leak when it rains where the pop-top sets down, I keep a bucket under there while not in use.
I would check to see how much water in coming from your packing gland on the propshaft, it's easy to check, just run the engine in gear and you can remove the cover to the propshaft under the quarter berth.
also, we had a big storm come through here once and my scuppers got clogged, the cockpit got pretty full of water and there was a leaky seal at the port hole and water snuck in there and filled the storage area under the quarterberth.
