water in C25 Anchor Locker

Just bought a 1984 C25. Love it. It rains a lot in Washington....

the water from the deck flows into the anchor locker and there is no drain. How do others handle this problem? Do you drill a hole at the bottom of the anchor locker? to the outside (ie. thru the hull?) to the bilge (ie. into the V berth?)

There should be a drain tube in the front of the locker that exits under the deck joint a few inches. Mine gets plugged with bugs occasionally. It is a small tube maybe 1/4 inch ID. I guess if your boat does not have one it would be easy to install with a SS or copper tube and some epoxy.
