I've noticed that our 2000 H-260 has water in the bilge after a run where we're healing 15 to 20 degrees. Is this coming from the blige through-hull and pump? Anyone have this happen before?

I used to get this issue where the water would enter the thru hull for the bilge pump. Two things I found were the reasons and rectifying those have resolved the issue. 1) I did not have enough of a U bend (the opposite way a sink functions) and I had no in line check valve. I recommend both to resolve the issue.
First take a flashlight and look behind the starboard rear berth door and look at the hull to deck transom joint to see if any water is coming thru there but make sure you have several folks on the back end of the boat when doing that. Feel also with your hand.
Next look to see if any water looking forward from the rear berth if any water is sitting on top of the water ballast tank.
Check to see if the drain bail plug for the air vent under floor step is tight and or in need to tightening by twisting it. Also check gasket under wing nut washer in the same area to see if still functioning.
Never an issue with water from bilge hose as it would appear from other sources. keep me posted.

My water came in from the hull and deck joint, but only when heeling stressed the joint.
I had a small hole in the area behind the stern berth where the water could be seen dripping in. Once home I had my son hold the air nozzle from the air-compressor to the hole and gently apply air. On the outside you could see water coming out of an invisible crack about 2 feet long.
The adhesive material didn't stick and I had to remove and replace about 4 feet of material. Once I started removing it (by hand not a power tool) it was easy to tell if the adhesive was still sticking and removed all that wasn't.
No problems since!

Thank you John for the photos as this may well be the problem but other sources could be the culprit like the gudgeon where it is attached on the lower transom again below the water line when folks are on the back. Only if you knew my involvement with these boats.
My approach is to ask questions and for photographs before pulling everything off. I also use to be an investigator as well besides a pilot.
