I was wondering if anyone has used / knows how the water hookup works on the C27. I have owned the boat for a year now and have never even tried it yet. How does it work? does the hookup fill up the water tank and always keeps it topped up while hooked up? or when you use the water on board it uses it from the direct water hook up in the anchor locker?

Your water hook-up is probably after market

and it should connect to your water system between the pressure water pump and the faucet(s). If it is plumbed into the low pressure side of your water system (your water tanks or the suction side of your potable water pump), you run a serious risk of turning your boat into a bath tub. If you haven't used it, I would carefully examine the hoses on the boat side of the water inlet and on your entire pressure water system before you use it. If any of these pressure lines fail, it can have catastrophic consequences. Having said that, having city water on your boat is much more convenient than filling your water tanks at frequent intervals. Just remember to turn off the water whenever you are not on your boat)or better yet, only turn it on when you think you will be needing it. Steve Alchemist C-320

Are you sure ...

Before you hook up water to this outlet/inlet, try and see where it is connected to inside the boat. It could also be an anchor wash down system. I would be very careful, since you don't know what it is. -Ralph
