I have to replace my water heater - any suggestions on a replacement part.

Tim: I recommend that you use the same make and model if possible. I think that they are comparable in performance and the hassel of changing fitting etc. is probably not worth the trouble. And that's my OPINION!

Why do you have to replace it?

Unless the tank itself has rusted out, you don't need a whole new water heater...just a replacement for the failed part.

Are you sure

Mine quit two years ago. Found a chafed wire inside the front panel, after replacing the wirer it's worked fine. It also could be the element.
