Any words of wisdom in removing an old water heater from a hunter 30? It's located between the Engine and the fuel tank. Too small of opening to Just slide it out

Did this a few years ago when I repowered. Disconnect all plumbing and electrical connections. Get a saws-all. Have at it. When you get a new one, make sure it fits in the lazarette opening. A rectangular heater, like mine, fits perfectly in the forward space of the starboard lazarette.

Have you considered just abandoning it in place and re-plumbing for a replacement?
