Just pulled the original water heater out of our 1985 Hunter 31. Attached is a photo. It appears from my Google results that the manufacturer is no longer in business, "American Appliance Mfg Corp" of Santa Monica CA. They have an address on Google but the phone numbers are out of date. They were purchased by Surbanban Manufacturing in 1987 and are still producing RV water heaters but all of them are Gas or Gas/Electrics now.
My unit had a brass/copper heat exchanger unit that pulled out of the side of the water heater. I was hoping to purchase an exact replacement.
Plan B is either a Raritan or other make? Any suggestions? Water needs are for weekend cruises and the occasional 3-6 day cruise.
