I have an 88 Catalina 30 Tall rig with a new found problem, the water heater has let go. (When I pressurized the fresh water system, lots of water in the bilge not to hard to find the leak). In any case, the unit is a Seaward Products model EHM6-SM 6 gal heater. In browsing the West Marine and Boats US catalogs, I have seen replacements but they are not the same size. They seem to be aout 3 inches longer. In looking at removing the unit, It seems to be pretty tight spacing, and am wondering if the larger unit will even fit. Questions: 1) Does anyone know where to get an exact fitting replacement (if they exist)? 2) Any helpful hints on removal and installation? Thanks in advance Tim "Black Dog"
