Water filtration for FW tank ?

A "two pronged aporoach" has ended our water issues.
First you need to filter with a carbon filter when you fill. This is easy and inexpensive by using a hose end filter from any RV shop. Get a filler spout with shutoff and it's super convenient. This will remove particles and taste (chlorine, plastic lines and more).

We have another of the same filters off the pressure pump.

Never had bad tasting or smelly water.

A two pack of the filters is under $30 (replace annually).

Works for us...

I have been looking and considering a "transient berthing" water source "de-funking".

I put a few of those researched options in the post above.
I like the Carbon Filters for each of installation and filter cartridge cost.
I have move away from the legendary "Bleach" solution for tank treatment.

PS: I assume it is smelling bad, versus color or sedimentation.
