I have a 1984 Catalina 27...deck water cap went overboard. Tried to get one at our local marine store...not successful. Any help would be appreciated.

According to the notes on Catalina Direct the original manufacturer is no longer in business and you have to replace both the deck pipe and cap.
I see that you're in Belmar, if that's Belmar NJ you might try calling Winters or Tidewater (the closest Catalina dealers) and see if the have some new old stock lying around.

I don't recognize the water caps that were linked at the Catalina Direct site.....and wonder if what you might be looking for is what I DO recognize 'cause its what we order and replace every few years for our Cat. 30 from Catalina Direct. Since they are listed under both the 27 and the 30 I would assume they could be what you are seeking.

I can't recall replacing these on our Cat 27 1979-80 so I could be wrong. Good Luck

The (plastic) deck waste cap on our 82 C27 froze. I had to drill it out. I don't remember the size, but WM did have a metal one that fit. If you carefully measure the diameter you should be able to find one that fits.
Do either of the other caps you've got fit? If so take them to the store with you.
