Should be sailing(see Related Link). But the boat is on the hard. Instead I will intermix football with some winter projects like the attached photo. Sanding and varnishing the dinghy sole. Unfortunately most of the projects are on or in the boat. And it is no fun untying the cover to work in below 40 degree conditions. In fact so many of the projects require warm weather like epoxy and paint and gelcoat. So back to football. At least my Steelers are winning this year.

Current conditions

here: Partly cloudy at 68 degrees with wind from the north at 5 mph. Athena is in the water and ready to go. Don't sulk! You guys will get the last laugh come July and August when my sneakers melt while walking on the dock; varnish falls off the brightwork and you can actually watch the gelcoat turn to chalk. Ed, are you sure you want to journey south? ;D

Steelers?!?

Ed, that's going to be a problem. I thought you were still in Browns country down there. Josh

Andy

Josh, Ed has an excuse

Josh, Ed lives within spittin' distance of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and I think that provides him with some cover, sort of the Holy Gridiron, where all true believers are welcome (however, be very careful about Canton high school football). I can testify that Ed lends tools to the needy and after all, he is a sailor and that shrouds a multitude of character flaws. I hope. Andy (Chicago Bears fan)

And where is Andy?

There has been a rumor that Andy may live almost as close to the shrine as I. There is more to the Steeler's thing however. I was born in Pittsburgh actually overlooking "the confluence", where the rivers meet and where the stadium(s) are located. It is interesting that from that stadium you can actually take your sailboat anywhere in the world. Albeit with a lot of motoring and the mast horizontal.

Yeah, but I am 3,000 miles from my boat and the growing list of projects. On the other hand, a cold front hit last night and the temps dropped to low seventies... Searching for my winter shorts. Sanders Satellite Beach, Fla (temp)
