Waste tank level indication

Has anyone fixed the waste tank level indicator on their boat. I have a 2001 Hunter 320. The waste tank level indicaton is not functionung. The guage moves when the tank level switch is turned on but the level doesn't indicate when/as the tank fills. Anyone have any experience with this problem?

Most likely a clogged sender

Waste is full of animal fats that clog tank senders. There are two cures: 1. Remove it and clean it...or 2. Replace it with a system that uses an external sender. A LOT of people here have replaced theirs with the Profile gauges Profile Tank Monitors and give 'em the highest marks and also give rave reviews to Dennis Ferriello who owns the company. Search the Head Mistress forum for discussions...you'll find a bunch.
