We did not get the washer/dryer on our CM-440, Island Time. Now that our cruising days are approaching, the Admiral has decided we need a washer/dryer. Question is to those of you who got the available washer/dryer option from Catalina or that may have added one after commissioning. Do you like the one that came on your boat? What make and model is it? Anybody add a unit after? Make and model? Do you recommend it?

i don't recall a lot of BIG boat folks being active here on this message board. There may be a bunch who have had or know folks with w/ds units and can chime in.

If you haven't already, I suggest you consider posting your question on the larger boat group association websites, like the C42, C36/375 and even other vendors, like the Ericson website. They're usually www. catalinaXX.org or .com, or www.cXX.org.

My thought was ,"do you know how much water those things use? not to mention the demands for the drier".
