not too often

My boat is an old 1973 that I fixed up and I painted all the gelcoat. I keep a spray bottle of windex and a rag and only clean up bird crap or spills as needed. I hose it down everyonce in a while

before every sail

We sail on the weekends and don't see the boat all week long so when we show up for the weekend she gets it: Dry brush for spider webs and misc, dead bugs and bird excrement. Followed by a good rinse, a soapy water scrub and rinse on the deck and hull. Couple of times during the weekend the cockpit gets a spray for beer, wine and chips. Beginning of every season top deck gets a good wax. The hull was painted with a two part epoxy paint and comes to a gleam with Windex.
