Update on the "free boat" ie sv free wiley steering cylinder rebuild. Bought the seal kit from go2marine and tore apart the cylinder. It came apart pretty easily since it is bronze and copper. Cleaned it up and went to put on new o-rings but the kit was a different size than mine. Talked online with go2marine and they suggested i call teleflex. I bought the kit from go2, why do I call teleflex? Anyway the guy wanted me to email him with photo's and the accurate dimensions of the cylinder, I did. So today I look to see a response from them and nothing-so i go to a local hydraulic shop and buy the stuff for 5$. The kit was 37.95 from go2. Anyway i will call them for a refund but what a feeling to fix it myself. Something i never touched before a hydraulic cylinder. thank you all for all the help patrick
