I have a Catalina 30 with the original wood spreaders. One cracked and I'd like to just replace that without changing to Aluminum.

The spreader is still on the mast that is stepped. If I could find the dimensions, I have someone who could make one. The problem is the outer end is enclosed and I can't see what it looks like. Too old to go climbing up to check it out.

Have you tried Catalina Yachts customer service/ parts department. Go to www.catalinayachts.com and use the general number at bottom of page to get connected to parts department.
Does anyone know what kind of wood was used for the old wood spreaders. I have a friend who can make it for me.
