I am looking for an O Day 272 with a trailer or just the trailer since there seems to be a number for sale without a trailer. Any ideas?

I have a 272 in IRMO, SC on Lake Murray that is a project for $2,500.00. No trailer though. Never needed a trailer after launching.
Good luck. You're right, I've never seen one on a trailer. That's probably because its not really a trailerable boat. There's a good one with a diesel just down the road for sale for $5k. A trailer will probably cost as much.
My 272 LE is on a trailer but it is scheduled to go in the water this Saturday morning....but it is suppose to turn very
cold again & launching using our crane in 35 degree weather seems a bit much although I've done it before....several times. Patrick

I've seen several 272 owners that have trailers, but mostly as winter storage cradles allowing them to store boat in their backyards.

This appears to be an LE model like ours...i.e. it has pressure water, diesel engine,complete head, etc.....they are very nice boats..we bought ours in 1986 and have never regretted the purchase....it get's lots of compliments....we have taken good care of it and nothing has ever needed replacement except the pressure water pump...Patrice in Wichita

That's not the issue. I agree that the point of the forum is being able to ask for help, and I think I do my fair share of responding based on my experiences. The trick is to respond with actual experience, and not doing a blind internet search which are as often as wrong as they are right. They trick is knowing the difference. Everyone knows how to search. If that's all you are doing, you are adding no value.
